LoofCo Washing-Up Brush
Product number: 46390
Want to put the sparkle back in your dishes while reducing your carbon footprint? Inspired by a traditional design and skilfully handmade in Sri Lanka, LoofCo’s Washing-Up Brush is perfect for eco-friendly everyday use, while being sturdy enough to tackle even the most stubborn of grime.
Made naturally
Made with sustainably sourced coconut fibre – also known as coir – wrapped around a galvanised metal core for strength and durability. Coir is a completely natural fibre that has antibacterial properties, making it an excellent eco alternative to your usual plastic washing-up brush. Totally recyclable, the handle is made from rubberwood sourced from plantations that no longer produce rubber.
Easy to use
Robust enough for scrubbing baked-on food, this brush is perfect for washing up your pots and pans daily, even after the odd culinary mishap. Its curved head and strong fibres mean you can easily scrub inside tea-stained mugs or clean out tins ready for recycling.
Long lasting
Who says you can’t save money and reduce your plastic waste? Great value and durable – your LoofCo brush will last for months when handled with care. After use, simply rinse, squeeze out any excess water and hang up to drip dry from its handy cotton string loop. To ensure it lasts as long as possible and stays fresh, occasionally soak the brush head in hot water and detergent before thoroughly drying.
